KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE:
KO3 turbo or turbo gaskets.
CV Carb or MY-Side kits.
In cab on the fly boost controllers or in cab gauges of any kind.
Specific joining/welding of the flange to turbo exhaust and the exhaust into your current exhaust system.
USED CARB DETAILS:
A flat $50 charge fee for getting your CV Harley Carb ready for turboing. Just send it in while your kit is being built or have the new carb modified for turbo. You can select that option now for the Carb order BUT be advised a turbo modified carb will not run normally aspirated without additional work.
What about Suzuki EFI turbo?
No on Suzuki old efi systems.
Closed loop efi systems are not turbo friendly. So you must upgrade the efi or convert as well as rod upgrade*
Upgrade for Efi
Purchase a mega squirt or holley Sniper and add that to you engine. About $2k for the kit. Then you can add MY-turbo and program for EFI.
Convert to CV Harley Carb or Propane. That’s all I do and only for Suzuki 8 v engines. Costs under $2k for gas and $1.6k for propane turbo plus some costs on your end to obtain tanks.
*Rod upgrade. 1.6 8v and 16v rods are weak. They break non turbo quite often right under the wrist pin. Highly recommend that H beam rods be used. Pauter set $1600+ or Molinar set $500.
ZOR is not responsible for any damage from boost as this is a boost adjustable system. No warranty is implied to any damage your engine occurs by horse power bolt on products being installed. Never install a turbo on a brand new engine. Yes we have been pre selling turbo motors in anticipation of this product. Make sure you have 1500-2000 miles minimum on any remanufactured engine prior to turboing. This turbo kit is specifically for turboing ONLY the 1.3 8 valve with ZuksOffRoads MY-SIDE kits. 1.6 8 valve can use this kit with recommended rod upgrades. The MY-Side kits were always manufactured to be turboed. Unlike DIY kits and CV copies using plastic parts, all the ZOR aluminum air rings were designed for turbo. A weak head gasket will not hold up long to boosting. ZOR recommends only two head gaskets KP/ALTRON from Japan or Felpro. NO WARRANTY IS APPLIED TO THIS PRODUCT OR TO WHATEVER IT IS ATTACHED TO. THIS PROVEN SYSTEM IS WORTH THE WAIT!
