This Radio box is designed to replace the factory plastic box, and will fit in the original opening. This box is made of heavy duty 18 gauge steel that is powder coated for corrosion resistance. Mounts with four self tapping screws into the existing plate in the dash. This box was designed to withstand years of abuse, and is strong enough mount accessories such as gauges, CB radios, radar detectors or GPS units.
There is no such thing as enough storage and this optional tray will not interfere with shifter lever while giving you that perfect place to toss your cell phone, tire guage, wallet, whatever.
