When replacing the Samurai Transfer
case Oil Seal be sure to use quality parts. You can tell the difference
between a quality unit and an inferior unit is if the replacement part
has a dust cover like the one pictured. This dust cover helps keep
excessive dirt off the seal to prolong the life of the seal. Units that
do not have this wear out quicker.
There are 2 of this particular unit used in the transfer case 1 for input and 1 for output to front axle.
